About CommonWealth Restaurant
CommonWealth Restaurant is located at 222 S. Glenoaks Blvd. in Burbank. The menu features a variety of influences including French, Italian, and Asian cuisines.
Ryotaro Isobe and Peter Park are co-owerns of this beautiful restaurant. They designed a menu full of small-plate options that allows their guests to enjoy a variety of plates. It solves that problem many of us struggle from when we go to a restaurant – having to pick only one entrée.
The small-plates allow guests to try a sampling of dishes and try a unique, flavor packed assortment. Not only does their variety in food reach a new standard, but their ample supply of wine makes pairing just about any dish possible.
CommonWealth Restaurant Menu Highlights

CommonWealth Restaurant’s menu features a sea, garden, land, and raw bar section – plus dessert of course. Some of their menu features seasonal options, which means that with the change in seasons comes a change in menu and prevents the menu from getting old.
Some of their best items include:
Shrimp Dumplings: Shrimp, goat cheese, seafood cream, and shiitake all combined in a dumpling paper. Delicious.
Seared Hanger Steak: A mushroom and onion sauté with horseradish pepper cream drizzled over a seared steak cooked to perfection.
Butterscotch Pudding: You better save room for dessert when you come to CommonWealth Restaurant. Their butterscotch pudding is topped with a house made whip, caramel, and a crisp prociutto.
Their wine bar features a wide collection of reds, whites and sakes. And if you are there for celebrating, they offer four different kinds of champagne.
Outlook

The restaurant is on the small side, so be sure to make a reservation. While it is still a hidden gem in Burbank, it only seats about 40 people.
This is a great date night idea. A romantic dinner for two with perfect wine pairings, dishes that can be shared and paired, and a rocking dessert to put a sweet twist on the night.
